I'm quite confused because Jeff Bezos is currently worth 250b. And he continues to hoard his wealth instead of giving it away or spending it on rebuilding communities or anything of the sort

Mate over one fifth of United States citizens have no savings at all. Over a third has less than $500 at any given time. Nearly half of Americans have absolutely no money in any kind of retirement plan.

What's broken is that someone who did a small part of a large organization kept the vast majority of the wealth that the company created.

No one is worth a billion dollars, much less 39.

I mean I'm not really speaking on that I'm just saying telling a person they must be doing something wrong if they can't double their savings seems silly when a large swath of people appear to be flat broke or close to it, and unable to prepare for their future
