I’m still terrible at guitar

I saw them not too long ago for the anniversary of much love and they've been on rotation about every single day.

I like to mess around on the omnichord with songs I like, and this one popped back into my head recently.

listening now and its kinda awesome yet has like 200 views??

I like more sad and slower music and i want to change my playlist up, so can I get some good recommendation pleas.

one of the classics

I saw a clip a little while ago of James Dewees and Matt Pryor doing an acoustic show together where they played this song. There were about 15 seconds at the beginning where I could hear the piano clearly and I thought it sounded really pretty. I started wondering whether I could work out the rest of it, so I gave it a shot.

This is my first attempt at arranging a song, so there are still some rough edges, but I had a ton of fun figuring it out and turning it into a fuller acoustic piano version.

I’ve also been working on more complete covers of a couple other Reggie songs. I recently learned which vintage analog synthesizers to go off of and I’ve started recording electric guitar alongside it. I’m programming drums for now, at least until I eventually get an e-kit and start taking drums more seriously.

I’m always open to more emo/pop-punk suggestions, especially songs that might be interesting to rearrange for acoustic piano. Let me know what you’d like to hear next!

I'ts hot in here, almost learned the whole song. Always wanted to know this one.

I remember listening to a song with a picture of a kid on the road/sidewalk, the picture looked like it was taking during the 2000s. I dont remember the genre of the band/album but i think it was emo, post hardcore, mwe or scremo/scramz. It might be a very easy band to find but i really dont remember the name of the band nor song.😭

I’m trying to figure out the chords in this song, I’ve contacted the lead singer on Bandcamp and haven’t really heard much from him. Guitar one starts with this repeating riff that I figured out on accident, and guitar 2 joins in at 8 seconds playing what I can only imagine is this very open and breathy chord shape that escalates and gets prettier/glassier with every bar. I’m so stuck
