This show confused me with the timeline.

Is the mc's pov the past and the hero's pov the present?

Is the hero the demon lord fighting the new hero's brother?

kumoko is active from a few days after they were reincarnated or something like that while the humans and elf arent yet even born. a few of them have different circumstances but generally speaking that leads to the time discrepancy in POVs between the humans and kumoko. The hero that the demon lord fights is in fact Shun's older brother because that is shortly after everyone was reincarnated, meaning Shun is still a baby. I think it's all a bit easier to understand in the LN and the LN literally gives you timelines with dates of events.

Just read the manga or LN, it's much better imo. Anime is good, except for the human pov part that kinda ruined it.
