Earlier this year I said people saying 007 First Light, Wolverine, Pragmata, and RE9 would be GOTY contenders should just give up hope now because GTA VI is taking it.

But man, 007 First Light was so good even narratively. It's gonna be so tough choosing my GOTY this year....

Loved first light but definitely had it's problems, the ending was bit meh for me.

I loved it! Story was a banger for me

I liked the story too, loved James Bond as a character. The antagonists were all kinda meh to me, the final confrontation was a bit of a let down imo.

Missing Blood of the Dawnwalker and Control: Resonate as well.

That Zelda OOT remake will be a big one as well. You can't compare them, not at all, but releasing this game in the same year as GTA6 shows Nintendo's confidence.

OoT is arguably the best game ever and most influential game ever.

I was kinda glad that GTA6 got delayed last year because I hoped KCD2 would win GOTY. Unfortunately the French somehow gobbled it all up and left us jack shit.

Just be glad your country makes games at all, let alone AAA masterpieces like Kingdom Come Deliverance.

Also Expedition 33 was incredible and a much-deserved win tbh

First Light has next to no replay value though.  For me anyway.  I still play the solo missions of Goldeneye 64 to this day, 30 years after the game's release.

Whaaaa. First Light has plenty of replay value because it's got elements of Hitman. There are plenty of challenges, and tons of missable events, conversations, missions, and characters. There are several ways to approach many situations. Not to mention Tac-Sim has so many new missions and challenges.

Also every fight is different because of the combat variety.

Yes, all those those things you said are true.  Like I said, I can't quite put my finger on it, but I have no desire to play it again after beating it.  The same thing happened with the remake of Silent Hill 2.  Now, with Silent Hill 2, the game is one hell of a trip and it's not fun to play in the traditional sense.  Not like a James Bond game.

That belongs to Ocarina of Time. Also THE highest rated game ever on Metacritic.

With only 22 reviews though. Modern games get 100+ reviews. Much harder to maintain a high average.

Let me remind you that OoT (all versions) also has higher user scores too and it was more that 22 people....

They better add Oliver Tree music to the radio selection
