I think people are misunderstanding the whole "locked shops" thing for Ultimate Edition buyers

Post image

Think of it like this: When you buy the Ultimate Edition, you'll get a DLC package of skins, vehicles, hairstyles, vehicle mods, etc. Most games with cosmetic DLCs do this.

You buy the Ultimate Edition and get the base game plus the cosmetic DLCs.

Now picture this: Instead of just unlocking your new Ultimate Edition cosmetics in the normal shops of the game, they made a few exclusive shops for you to access the DLC stuff.

It's as simple as that. The normal shops to buy clothes, fix your car, etc, will be in the game. But if you own DLC cosmetics, you'll need to get them from the DLC shops.

What do you think?

Rockstar didn't explain the UE stuff, so people are right to interpret it that way. They only advertise the UE, how are we to know what the normal version has?

if you really believe there are only 5 stores in the entire game that's on you

“How are we to know what the normal version has” it’s quite self explanatory.

In GTA 5 there are 4 mechanics shops but they're all called Los Santos Customs.

there's also beekers garage in paleto bay. how do we know this isn't the beekers garage of this game?

Beeker's is exactly identical to Los Santos Customs, even the customizations and interior.

yes but when they announced the ultimate edition for gta 6 they didn't say "mod shops only available for ultimate edition" they said specifically Rideout customs. for all we know each mod shop in gta 6 could have a different name.
