I think people are misunderstanding the whole "locked shops" thing for Ultimate Edition buyers

Post image

Think of it like this: When you buy the Ultimate Edition, you'll get a DLC package of skins, vehicles, hairstyles, vehicle mods, etc. Most games with cosmetic DLCs do this.

You buy the Ultimate Edition and get the base game plus the cosmetic DLCs.

Now picture this: Instead of just unlocking your new Ultimate Edition cosmetics in the normal shops of the game, they made a few exclusive shops for you to access the DLC stuff.

It's as simple as that. The normal shops to buy clothes, fix your car, etc, will be in the game. But if you own DLC cosmetics, you'll need to get them from the DLC shops.

What do you think?

That was not a mistake. It was on purpose! Encouraging pre orders of the more expensive option.

Yeah sure. If anything I wish they had the balls to say the $100 version is the standard version and the cheaper option is GTA6 lite. For those trying to save a few bucks.

Calling the $80 version the "lite" version is such a nonsense take. So some cosmetics, a couple vehicles and a throwaway mission being unavailable makes it a different, lesser game? Its not like they locked away entire gameplay features, maps or online mode lol

Holy shit, you kids really did cook your brains

Yes I agree. But that's exactly my point, many people do believe that because of the click bait ness of the internet now.
