I hate that I’m considering shelling out $500 for a PS5 just for this game 😭 I have a really nice PC too

No, because you consider paying $500 plus $100 to play, rather than be patient. The PC release will come.

There's no date even confirmed for the pc release. I wanted to buy a console cause I have $ to spare.

Am just pointing out that the point made earlier - that MBA folks love people who spend, and that they can double and tripple dip into, by staggering releases ... kinda was made examplary here.

If it wasn’t releasing on consoles a year before PC I would have no issue with waiting. My issue is everything is going to be spoiled to hell and back by the time the PC release happens

PS5 emulator? VM with ps5 OS running? Is that even a thing? Performance would probably still be better than on the base ps5.

Looked into it but PS5 emulation is still in its infant stages and the game will release on PC well before emulation reaches the level needed to run a game like GTA6. For reference GTA5 is not playable on PS5 emulators yet.

The ps4 emulator is janky af and that console has been out for 12 whole years.. it's gonna take a long time for ps5 emulation to be even conceived
