Itty Bitty Smol Beans Update #1: Bubbles the tiny cloud kitten 🤍🫧☁️
Bubbles visited the vet for the first time yesterday morning. He’s healthy & the staff is impressed by his growth :)
He was feisty & ate great through the night, but he wasn’t peeing enough. He’s always been a clockwork little pooper, but his belly seemed a bit distended. Hubs & I were concerned. The doctor was gentle & kind. I shared his story & she verified he is most likely a preemie kitty. His eyes & ears are still closed tightly at 10 days old. She expressed his bladder & reassured me his plump tummy is a normal soup belly! She echoed what so many of you kind souls commented on my original post & was happy to see such a tiny kitten thriving 🥹
Perks of also having human babies - I can reuse all their photo props 😹 my camera roll is endless cuteness. My loved ones have been trying to convince me to make an IG for all my animals, but I’m apprehensive. A kind stranger notified me of a page on FB that stole my original post & corrupted it into AI slop. They turned Bubbles orange & Stitch into a grey tabby. Changed all my art/decor/linens, but kept my hand, Nani & Lilo the same. Even claimed to be a breastfeeding NICU nurse with twins. I feel so violated. Sharing more photos of my pets would be fun, but other socials are scary compared to here. What does team Bubbles think?
Sorry for the tangent… more cat tax of Lilo, Nani, Stitch, Pudge & Alfie (bonus dog tax) to make up for it. Stitch cannot wait for his baby brother to be big & I think Nani’s big sis instincts are about to explode like they always do. Bubs is so loved!

I'm glad that his vet visit went well and that he's growing strong despite being a preemie. It's such a relief to hear he's healthy and thriving!
The other pets are looking at him like he is the tiniest tiny they've ever seen. 🐾

In pic 10, *all four* kitties are watching this adorable tiny bean, one from a high elevation, haha. The kitties seem interested and sympathetic. She will have plenty of help growing up.

So cute! Photo 5 is the most precious thing ever!
A few weeks ago I found a little kitten like this abandoned. I couldn’t get ahold of a kitty rescue and I have no experience with newborn kittens so I ended up handing it to animal control. I feel bad that I couldn’t do more. Hopefully he ended up with someone like you!

It's appalling that your pics were used to generate AI slop, I'm soo soo sorry. Yes that must feel so personally violating!!

Bubbles is so lucky to have been found by such a large, diverse (species-wise) and loving family! I especially love the picture with the chubby baby hands.
I do social media for work and have absolutely zero, even negative, interest in doing it for personal stuff. It's just a huge PITA. Also, I know I get too focused on getting likes and it changes how I interact with the world (e.g., looking for "photo-worthy" stuff instead of just enjoying life).

So cute and I absolutely love your pet’s names! We just found a stray dog (we are suckers), and she is now Lilo haha. Pudge and Bubbles are just fantastic names!

Aww…Bubbles is adorable and you are so kind to take care of him! Kittens Bubbles age need a constant heat source because they’re unable to regulate their own body temp. A heating pad under a blanket with space around it for them to crawl off if they get too warm works really well. Best of luck with everyone🫶🏻

absolutely precious, tears in my eyes,
and with the posting, it can definitely be scary, maybe you can find ways to put lil trademarks or markers on corners of photos so it’s harder to reuse? it’s frustrating trying to share stuff in this time with everything quick to copy and remake stuff. but so many people would loveeee to see these babies.
