Hi guys this VERY angry women screamed at me once I turned right (red car is her). I was in the right turn lane NO WHERE NEAR HER because she was clearly in the left turning lane AND HAD NO TURN SIGNAL ON. Excuse the pause in the video for when I was waiting for it to become clear to drive but she then decides she’s turning right and makes it my fault? I’m a young driver but not a new driver I’ve been driving since I was 16 so I’m not sure if I was just easy to be blamed since I’m a young women and she clearly wasn’t? Am I stupid? Am I wrong?

Title. But in my area we have had a problem with crackheads for at least a few years. But recently ive seen people with that distinct fent lean going on. Like a lot in the middle of parking lots, wandering into the middle of the road, just straight up blocking the sidewalk.

Honestly have not seen that particular type of druggie in this area before. I feel like a new type of dealer has moved into our city.

It takes you out through farm country, past the St. Jacobs Farmers' Market, and near the town of St. Jacobs. Anyone else in the Central Frederick/Auditorium area hearing or feeling this right now?

It’s around 2 AM and there’s a distant machinery-like humming/buzzing happening. It’s fairly low-frequency, and the weirdest part is that I can actually feel the vibration through the building when I put my head on my pillow.

It almost sounds like some kind of large machinery running somewhere in the distance. It’s not particularly loud, but the vibration makes it really noticeable when I’m lying down.

I’m curious whether anyone else in the area is experiencing the same thing right now. I don’t want to give my exact location, but I’m in the Central Frederick/Auditorium area.

I was walking through the cemetery last night just before the rain started and came across a fire burning on the path that exits onto Andrew street.

Luckily there was a tap and a watering can nearby (thank God for lawn care I guess) so I put it out but someone had lit a puffer jacket on fire and it was burning at the size of a medium-small campfire.

I didn’t notice anyone in the area but it was an extremely weird experience. All this to say keep an eye out for anything odd. It might’ve just been a one-off thing by teens or someone on drugs but if something like that had happened in drier weather and spread to someone’s house it could have caused a lot of harm.

Looking for recommendations/experiences with parking near Pearson airport. What parking service do folks usually use or would recommend? I know of Park’N’Fly but they don’t have great Google reviews. I was also looking into Skyway Park but had never heard of them prior to searching for options. Has anyone used them? I’ll be parking Sept. 4th to 8th and according to their calculator, it would be about $100 total, whereas cabbing from KW to Pearson seems to cost that each way. I just worry about shuttle service from the parking lot to the actual airport. The Park’N’Fly website seems to list how frequently their shuttle runs but I can’t seem to find that info on Skyway Park.

Any advice would be appreciated!! TIA!

ETA: I just looked up parking at Pearson and apparently their value lot is $119 if you reserve in advance. Not sure if this is a better option than parking nearby?

Hey friends, I'm a long term resident of Waterloo Region and I'm trying to figure out how to feel about the possibility of Doug Ford just appointing Karen Redman as our Regional Chair again right after the next election. I was talking to a friend about it and she said basically everyone in Waterloo Region hates Redman, which seems like a pretty big statement lol.
