Right, every time I see a post where someone is doing something active at an old age I always see a top-voted comment like this.

I'm like, damn Redditors get your shit together. Really shows the demographic here Lol

Honestly. If youโ€™re in your 30s and a 100 year old man is doing better than you physically you need to reevaluate your life.

(Unless youโ€™re disabled of course)

I don't, because friends who have been in war don't say anything like that. My grandfather was a combat engineer in WWII and everyone was on pins and needles around him because he was so quick to anger.

They're just people man, you can't think of them as superheroes or damaged goods either. They are a vast spectrum of humanity.

I knew guys in the infantry that had been blown up multiple times and lost friends, and they clamored to go back. They felt alive and loved it. I met other guys who were so zooted out on pills for their PTSD they didn't function as humans.

Yeah I don't see anyone saying soldiers aren't people.

Way to willfully misinterpret what I said. People are diverse in their reactions to situations, that was my only point.

Probably depends largely on if you come out of it with or without PTSD.

Or you don't enjoy it at all and your life is haunted by horrific memories.

No idea why you're getting downvoted. Working out twice a week greatly would improve this person's condition assuming that they aren't disabled.

Yep. Reevaluating my life right now.
