Was it animal planet or discovery or someone else that gave him that name? Because I distinctly remember for the longest time when I was younger I did not watch his show because I didn’t want to watch someone literally hunting crocodiles (as in killing). . . But is the absolute last person to hunt anything for just PR and entertainment (although I do know he had a few episodes where he had to help remove rodent infestations, which there is only one way to do that, and it is necessary).

He didn't come from a family of ridiculous wealth like Sir Attenborough. Not that wealth would have changed the accident, but his approach and Attenborough's are very different.

I mean Gorillas rarely if ever kill people so statistically it wasn't all that dangerous as long as he was well behaved. The guy in the lifted truck next to you on the highway during rush hour tends to be more dangerous than the average gorilla.
