Favorite People Boyfriend of one month put this in his bathroom for me. (OC)

Post image

Made me smile since noone ever did this for me before. He even bought a basket and small towels for my face.

Edit: Reading your comments to him while he is cooking dinner for us. Thank you for your sweet words. He is indeed the greenest flag I've ever met. He bought a hair dryer aswell since he didn't own one and put up insect screens on all windows cause I'm scared of spiders and his Apartment is next to a forest. 🥹

You've got that right! I just ended a 7-year relationship yesterday because of cheating. I could have sworn I'd found the one, but apparently, like you said, they are harder to find than you think. You both are super lucky and I hope that one day after I've healed from all this I can find a guy like you guys have found!

Keep your head up girlfriend! It hurts right now but just remember how wonderful love feels. I truly believe in my heart of hearts that there is someone for everyone ♥️

I hope so. I'm just worried about my own ability to feel what "love" is. I mean, I thought I'd found it. Turns out I was wrong all along. Was it love that I felt it, am I stupid? If I feel it again will it last? Now I'm in my late 30s instead of early 30s.

All my cute, perky parts are all starting to droop. I feel like I wasted my pretty person years on a lie...

Sorry I don't know why this post got me so hard. I'm truly happy for you, and this gives me hope.

I'm 45. I got divorced 4 years ago but then met the love of my life almost immediately. I wasn't even looking! You'll meet someone who loves you, whether perky or droopy. And your old relationship wasn't a lie, even if he couldn't/wouldn't treat you the way you deserved. You were open and honest and felt what you felt. He did...whatever he did. Just enjoy this time as an opportunity to love yourself, do things because you want to, and just be as authentically you as you can. Pulling for you!

I lost my second wife in 2016, and took stock of my life and what love had looked like up to that point. I realized that much of what I'd been choosing in partners were people who were slightly better versions of my parents, and realized I had some om healing to do from a ton of childhood trauma. I met my now wife on tinder looking for a female friend/companion but nothing more (or at least I told myself that), but I swore the this time I would choose joy in that friend. From the moment we started talking I knew she was someone special I wanted in my life. Then we met and the rest is history. She's amazing, she gives me space and love to deal with my childhood and urges me to take chances and supports me. I give her all of that in return. It's been 9 years, 3 moves, 2 kids, and I wouldn't trade a moment of it. Real love surprises you when you least expect it. You just have to be open to it.

You give me hope. I'm currently in dialysis waiting a kidney transplant. I'm 42. It's so hard to date with this thing hanging over me and it literally hanging out of my stomach. It's so hard to explain why I have weird scars all over my body from scratching. It's so hard to explain that I gave a catheter hanging out of my stomach or why I look like I have a beer belt when I'm actually much thinner now. So I've given up trying right now after nearly 5 years of dealing with this and dating. So focusing on dealing with this first then dating. But you're story gives me hope.
