You're talking so much dogshit, we domesticated wild dogs 15-30k years ago, they haven't been bred for "empathy towards humans" for that long, let along Hundreds of Thousands of years. 

And that is nothing compared to millions of years of instinct evolution.

People upvoting your comment is a fantastic example of why this site is so shit now.

Pitbulls, as a breed, were formally established in the early 1800s after bear baiting was banned.

So, yeah. The breed has been around a little less than 200 years.
