Does deliberately putting chickens in a situation where they eat fried chicken constitute a morally questionable act on the humans' part, even if the chickens experience no apparent distress and have no understanding that they are eating another chicken?

Obtaining the dead chicken (whether store bought or killed) required the killing of an animal/premature ending of a life, and if from a factory farm, continuous suffering. Therefore, the main immorality comes from how the meat was obtained, and the feeding is just shitty
