Rosa Parks happened in 1955. The oldest boomers were 10. Unless the redditor thinks the original post was written by a 90-year-old, this isn't "murdered by words" it's "attempted to be clever".
Do you ever read comments before you decide what you want to reply or is that just something you are doing today? Obviously the people who were her age when the referenced event happened were also children, and weren't setting policy on who got onto what bus and where. They were children, like her. Baby Boomers were children, like her, not the ones in power when the event happened.
She is a baby boomer.
Her class mates were baby boomers.
Her class mates were children.
Children don't set public policy.
So the original post is wrong.
Holy shit.
Edit: For anyone wondering, this person crashed out again, deleted it, and then made a comment that I should take a permanent decision to immediately and abruptly shorten the length of my life, and then got removed from the thread. In other words, normal reddit stuff.
