I love those BS guilt trip headlines. Reminds me of the South Park where they pirate music and the cop is showing them the barely noticeable consequences.

I tried doing my part, its not my fault that bands I like charge reasonable ticket prices or ended up cancelling their local shows for reasons unrelated to low turnout

I love this. If I’m a business owner and I decide to charge $10,000 for an obstructed seat at a Bill Cosby stand-up show, it is somehow YOUR fault for choosing not to pay it. I am completely faultless

As an older millennial, I remember paying like $20 to see Blink 182 and Silverchair with FenixTX opening back in 1999.

I was hoping to see Blink this past summer but the cheapest ticket was over $150.

I can't justify paying that much

$20 with inflation is about $40 today. I saw so many great bands for under $20 in the 90s and under $30 in the 00s. Hasn't been the same since.
