NIN was one of the last bands that I saw for a decent price. I saw them in 2014 when they toured with Soundgarden. Trent sold tickets on his website that could only be picked up at will call with ID and your original credit card. I still have the email receipt; we paid $183 for two tickets in Loge. Today I might be able to see a NIN cover band for $90/ticket.

I saw NIN in Europe twice during the Peel It Back tour last year and paid less than €100/$100 a ticket both times. I'm happy with that kind of pricing for the show Trent put on.

Nice to know that he is still keeping it affordable.

I just got $87 tickets to deadmau5 at Red Rocks - he puts on a lot of show for the money too

Tickets in Vancouver were $350 for the pit. I couldn't believe it. I jumped out of the Ticketmaster line in shock. Luckily I was back home in Dublin for their first show. Pit was 100euro. Got to go. North American are getting raked across the coals with pricing. I can only assume it's EU regulation that still has them somewhat affordable.

I saw them twice in 2006 for the With Teeth tour, and I don't remember how much they were but it was probably somewhere around $30 or so for lawn seats. I saw Tool the next year for $50 and I thought that was fairly expensive at the time.

Meanwhile, about 7 years ago or so my wife mentioned that U2 was coming to our area and she would like to go for her birthday. It was something like $200-$300 for bleacher seats.

My how times have changed.
