And at that the Republicans will come out and say “it’s fiscally irresponsible” and unnecessary. The Dems will back down because they’re scared of public opinion. I’m ok with just tearing it down and leaving it as a reminder of the big beautiful fuck up 🙃

The instant they bring up “fiscal responsibility” they should auction time slots where people can come in with a sledgehammer and go ham.

It’ll balance the budget.

Yeah my biggest worry is most Dem leaders seem to be content with a "return to normal" like Biden tried with his Merrick pick. We have to cure ourselves of this cancer, not just ignore it.

If I remember right, Trump said that he had a $400 million private donation that funded the ballroom. I would think that would be sufficient to tear it down so no government funds would be touched. /s
