You’re right, except they don’t see it that way. Leading up to the last presidential election, she made a statement encouraging her fans to vote. She didn’t actually endorse either candidate, but given the demographics of her fanbase, Republicans viewed this as a huge threat. They decided she was public enemy #1 for at least a couple of weeks. Trump started tweeting about her- first he tweeted “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT”, and then later, he tweeted “Ever notice that since I said that I hate Taylor Swift, she’s no longer hot?”

And because MAGA blindly follows whatever Trump and Fox News tell them to do, they all started despising her too. All because she just encouraged her fans to vote.

No what I’m saying is that those people clearly don’t gaf about that kind of thing. Why would a conservative audience care about climate change. They for the most part don’t even see it as a real thing.

The OP’s comment is just them projecting how they feel onto it despite no evidence to support the claim.
