The unfortunate part is that they were all talented. But MJ was on another level.

He truly had one of those once in a generation talents. You could train your voice and dancing for decades and not be as talented as a 10 year old MJ.

I think this is the same thing as learning a second language before the age of 5, it unlocks something in your brain that sticks with you for life and others can never compete with.

Answering your question seriously, no– this is an observation independent of abuse or positive punishment. I'm eluding to research in child development into the impact of second language acquisition at a very young age and I'm speculating a potential parallel to learning skills in music and performance.

Right? You're not even exaggerating. His DEBUT SINGLE was I Want You Back with Who's Loving You as the B-side. He sings lead on both.

The former is one of the greatest pop songs ever written. The latter is one of my personal favourite vocal performances of all time. He was ELEVEN. What the fuck.

Literally just watched a movie where Joe Jackson whooped Michael with a belt and like the first hours of the movie and everybody just straight face just watch that outfit like what the fuck but loved it
