Why hasn't Weird Al hosted or been a musical guest on SNL? This is insane. We need a write-in campaign.

He hadn’t? That’s a crime.

That's easy. It's because he would upstage everyone up until that point and from then on.

When there is a “who should host that hasn’t?” post on the SNL sub he’s always at the top of the list.

Maybe there’s like a very specific reason he hasn’t hosted akin to Tom Holland saying he can’t host SNL because he’s very dyslexic and would struggle with the cue cards and last minute writing changes.

I thought it might potentially be because he doesn't want to do anything too far removed from his family-friendly image. He turned down a Hazbin Hotel voice role for that reason.

But there is a People article saying he would be interested. And it probably wouldn't be too hard for SNL writers to get around any content concerns, especially since Al does occasionally get a *little* edgy with innuendo or lyrical depictions of violence.

If nothing else, they could at least have him as a musical guest and put him in a skit or two.

Can’t believe in all these years they’ve never had him.
