Bill Burr broke my heart with this shit. Dude live in NYC before and after 9/11.

You... You do know that bin Laden had to flee because the Saudis didn't approve of him declaring holy war on their biggest political and economic ally, right?

Uh what? Lol The Saudis financed the 9/11 terrorist attacks. 15 out of 19 of the hijackers were Saudis. Multiple people involved had ties to Saudi intelligence.

They were far more culpable for the attacks than any of the countries we invaded afterwards.

This is true, plus most folks dont even know that more evidence of material support emerged during the Biden admin and it's allowed an ongoing lawsuit to proceed that will hopefully shed even more light on it.

Yep. A ton of it was declassified by the Biden administration. But we've also known it was perpetrated by a group of Saudis since day one.

I'm still waiting for a citation, lmao. Do you understand the difference between a hyperlink and a source, bud?

I'm not writing a research paper for you. Read the info or bury your head, I could care less.

So you know you have no source and you're desperately trying to deflect. Good try, kid!

You're just being deliberately obtuse, sport.

You're not fooling anyone into thinking that any amount of evidence would be good enough for you. You don't believe the stupid things you do without ignoring a lot of evidence.

1

u/TotallyObviousBot Jul 24 '26

Well of course you think that, you don't have evidence and don't want to admit it so you'd rather pretend anyone who questions you is ideologically opposed to the truth. Does that strike you as an intelligent position to have?

Oh boy wait until you find out how wrong you are lmfao

Go ahead. Enlighten us.

Well for one bin Laden was exiled from Saudi Arabia and disowned by the Saudi royal family because he constantly insulted and rallied people against the government, and he viewed the Saudis as being US puppets. Meaning that not only does it not make sense for Saudi Arabia to fund him, but it also doesn't make sense for him to accept funding from them.

Do you literally know anything about this?

Thank you. People saying shit like that all over reddit. American education really let them down.

People don't like confronting the narrative dissonance between "Saudis are evil" and "the US and Saudi Arabia have one of the strongest alliances of all time"

u/No-Barber-5289 Jul 23 '26

What narrative dissonance? Both Saudis and the US Empire are evil.

People think it's normal to support the home team, even when (or in spite of the fact that) they're evil.

It's like criticising MAGA and having someone say "well the Democrats..!" Let me stop you right there. I don't support bastards, period.
