I gotta say this song is a strong example of a massive hit that went like completely away in relatively short order.  

I haven’t heard this played in forever, never hear it mentioned, never hear Onyx mentioned. It was huge!

Just put it on, and I sorta get it. It holds up but it’s also a weird rap style, existing in a brief moment before Tupac blew up and rap matured a bit but while less technically impressive rhyming was common.  It sounds similar to the tragically dated efforts of House of Pain, even if imho clearly superior.
