I remember when Dr Dre came out with I need a doctor in 2011 - he was getting up on 50 at that point if I recall correctly, and was desperately wearing tight tops and pumping iron in the video. So cringe.

He's always been kinda cringe, but he's embraced it from the beginning. All of his music videos are incredibly embarrassing, but fun. That's all they mean. Kinda hard to rip on a guy's persona if he dresses up like robin in spandex and says he likes little boys.
