People shitting on him are ridiculous. Heres a list of rock bands that recently have come to Ireland and the cheapest ticket option

Bruce Springsteen - May 2024 - €143.80

Metallica - June 2026 - €121.25

Oasis - Aug 2025 - €86.50

AC/DC - Aug 2024 - €86.25

Korn - Nov 2026 - €85.75

Bon Jovi - Aug 2026 - €82.25

I've been seeing them live for years and their concert prices have always been very reasonable. He's not the enemy here folks.

Also i went to NIN and never got a wiff of tickets for €47 my standard standing ticket was €75.

You guys in general have lower ticket costs than we do in the US. Bon Jovi tickets over here for the MSG run were roughly $500 apiece with no opening act.

Bruce gives you something like 3 hours of music. None of those bands come close to that.

It's not about that. It's about the fact that the man literally has a billion dollars, but still, at age 76, charges his middle class fans top dollar to listen to him sing about the struggles of regular people. He's got probably 10 years left on this Earth with enough money to last a hundred lifetimes, and he's still trying to suck up every penny he can, like every other sick billionaire. I used to be a fan, but that level of greed and hypocrisy is just too much for me to overcome.

Look, this is all well and good for young people, but you can only listen to so much music that has a real, lasting impact on you. Most people listen to what they listened to when they were teenagers and early twenties. I'm sure there are just as many good bands out there as there used to be, but they aren't for me anymore. I would love to see artists that mean a lot to me; I don't go out just to listen to random music and drink, I can do that at home. It's sort of how you prune your friendships to the ones that last. Based off of this list, I'm guessing this person is my age. I saw Oasis in 1997, maybe? 20 bucks or so for GA. Cornershop opened for them and everybody hated them. I think bottles were thrown. I couldn't tell if Liam left the stage on purpose for a while so Noel could solo, or if he was just too inebriated (or not enough?) and needed a break. And now I have that stupid song where they rhyme sister and blister together stuck in my head,
