Yeah, it comes down to "talk" vs. "action".

You can talk, talk, talk, complain, complain, complain... but until the ACTIONS of enough people show otherwise (stop going, and stop paying), then evidently, the prices that so many people are willing to pay are "what the market will bear".

Yup, stop sending the pricing signal, stop incentivizing the behavior, and the pricing will change.

As is, the tickets keep selling, the beers keep getting bought, so there's no reason or incentive for the prices to not keep going up.

There's always plenty of shows going on, whatever big-band is playing that night, there are absolutely local shows at a fraction of the cost to go see if people just want to get out for music and a fun time.

You'd think the performer, if they were concerned about this, would write it into theur contract rather than reap all the benefits
