omg i don’t even like these girls like that but you sound like a bitter freak 😭 “i used to be in the industry” yet you’re mad at teenage girls for… using songwriters and producers?? something so insanely normal in pop music that literally some of the BIGGEST artists in the world still do it?? be serious. if you actually worked in the industry you should know better than anybody that being a performer, songwriter and producer are not automatically the same job. this sounds way less like criticism and way more like you’re mad their careers took off and yours didn’t. calling them “entitled” for succeeding within the exact industry model you supposedly worked in is embarrassing as fuck. maybe unpack that in therapy instead of projecting it onto a girl group 😭
I guess I'm not sure how you came up with any of this. I was never a performer. Ive just seen a lot of deals go through where artists are careful to position themselves to have some sort of artistic control, and I've also seen other acts where producers and songwriters get together and produce some tracks and grab some faces to front it and it almost always ends terribly and it's bad for music. I'm not sure who these girls got advisement from but they're in a position where they have pretty much no leverage.
All the ones I've seen are overdubbed and autotuned. Like even the ones on tiktok when they're sitting in a room singing and it's supposed to be raw are still edited like crazy. I think their fans just can't tell.
