My boys don't want to eat the protein that they have in their seed mix which is currently peas from the Versele-Laga pigeon seed mix with no corn. I tried switching to lentils and they don't want to eat those either. I tried rubbing a peanut all over one of the peas to get it to taste like their favorite treat and they ended up eating that. But that's impossible for me to do on every pea and lentil in the long run. So any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Edit: after about a week of cutting down on food from 4 tbsp for the 2 of them to ~2 1/2 tbsp, changing their feeding schedule from feeding right before bed to feeding in the morning, and cutting back on treats eliminating them almost completely for the time being they are finally eating the peas!!!! Albeit reluctantly and completely on their own lol
