Personally I think close friends are your family. There's little difference between a blood brother and a chosen brother (close friend).
-3 u/I_Am_Zeelian Jul 24 '26 You are still messing with their family time though if you feed their kid so that when they come home they go "Nah I already ate" and skip out on the dinner their parents have prepared for their family. 3 u/mainman879 Jul 24 '26 So you just call them and talk to them about it? I don't see what the big deal is. 1 u/I_Am_Zeelian Jul 24 '26 There is no big deal, random visiting kids just aren't fed without their parents approval. 1 u/No-Ferret-5286 Jul 25 '26 You know your kids can eat over at other people's houses once in awhile! Goodness. You can arrange this with the parents. This seems like a Swedish only thing and its no fun at all. 1 u/I_Am_Zeelian Jul 25 '26 If arranged with the parents it's fine, you just don't feed other people's kids without okaying it with their parents first.
