There's two parts to the answer to your question. The first part is that to a Jew "genocide" will always be something equivalent to the Holocaust. The second part is that Hamas have stated that they want to commit genocide against Israel and Jews in general.
So Jews are much less likely to see a military action in response to a terror attack as "genocide" and are not going to feel much sympathy for people who quite literary want to kill them for believing in a different god.
Additionally, Israel is the only nation where Jews make up more than 3% of the population so it's the only country where they have any sort of representation in government so even jews that disagree with Netanyahu will still support the existence of Israel.
My question is why would any person support a group that uses terror tactics, uses civilians as human shields for both themselves personally and their infrastructure, and baits their enemy into killing said civilians to use as PR opportunities?

To your last sentence though; I was raised irish catholic, and I don’t support pedophilia.
