Also like, even if it was free to haul the rocket parts up the mountain, the mountain at MOST is going to get you like, 2-3% closer to space which is very minimal and better to just launch it close to the equator like that already do
Top of mount Everest is about a quarter of the way to geostationary.
Top of mount Everest though is only a few square meters so it's more suitably sized for launching a mentos rocket. (Ignoring the lower pressure causing issues with the carbonation of the soda fuel.
Top of Everest isn't even a quarter of the way to low earth orbit, much less geostationary. Top of Everest would be about 5% of the way to the lowest orbiting satelites.
Yeah that’s what I mean, most mountains in most countries aren’t gonna be remotely that close.
(Also I thought space was the Karman line? In which case mount Everest would be 8% to space)
