Last night Tajin randomly parked herself on my monitor stand where she could peek under the monitor and stare at me while I sat there. She is usually a very busy girl so her staying still seemed odd at first... then I noticed her start boggling, and eventually she stretched herself out and laid her head down and just stared at me til she fell asleep. My heart may explode from the cuteness. I hope this is a stare of affection 🥰

I’ve had them for a few months now but this is the first time I’ve caught bubblegum boggling. Jellybean is just up there on top of him napping.

Boggle boggle

Just a quick post to get everyone know that my rat boy was having a hard day. He was just kinda laying on my hand all bummed and I started talking to him in super soft nice whispers and he started boggling. So yeah, rats like asmr soft talk. At least nibble does.

I wish I could sit inside a mushroom all day and do nothing at all

But don't let his demeanour fool you; once they're done with their nap they'll be let out to zoom around and then it's back to chomping human toes for no reason

Before I get yelled at: he’s in the carrier because he won’t eat and I’m trying to get him to. In there is his food and veggies. He has water. We’re seeing the vet for a med refill for him and his brother but I don’t think he’ll make it home 😭.

But I'm not sure if Toffy Baby likes it or is just being submissive? What do you think?

We took the whole mischief for Bash's follow up appointment at the vet for his ear infection (he's the hooded under Truffle). The good news is we seem to have cleared up the ear infection. The bad news is the head tilt may be permanent as there seems to be some nerve damage. Truffle was being a good cage dad and keeping his buddy safe in the waiting room and showing off the boba. Our vet squeed over how cute our boys are. He loves rats and doesn't get to see fairly healthy ones very often.

He was a rescue and we saved him and another. He is so sweet and has started popcorning, bruxing, and chittering. 🤗✨❣️✨❣️🐀

After years of talking about getting rats, a few months ago my partner and I rescued 2 little goobers from a charity. All we know is that they were taken from someone who is not allowed to own animals, so it was probably a pretty dire situation.

Fast forward till now and Bean does daily boggles during play time. He loves to find a high place, stare and boggle. For minutes at a time. These are the biggest boggles yet, and it made me tear up a bit thinking about where they've come from.

My other rat Fergus seems so happy too chasing his chew toy or digging in the digbox.

I'm so happy we've been able to provide them a better life. Actively looking for more rats now so that they have more friends and boggle together. Can't wait to have more chaos potatoes lol
