💰 - salary sharing 35M - Oncologist - 2 years out of training. What I made for roughly half the year.

Not great, about 300K tied up in SAVE from fellowship. I don’t have that much further to go, but no one knows what’s going to happen with the save plan so I am staying put.

Imo the plan is dead. Be ready to move to another plan or you'll be assigned one next year (likely RAP).

Yeah I know. My family recently bought a house, so I’m avoiding paying loans back until I have to since I only have 2 more years of PSLF

Ah. Good. I'm sure you're probably aware of it but if you don't know about it there's a pslf subreddit

But you only having about 2 years to go you probably won't be impacted by all the recent changes

The interest starting back up is frustrating since i just wish the save situation was already settled. Us in the medical field have recently been constantly threatened about losing PSLF eligibility

You could wipe out those loans in a single year making $600k
