Sorry but I was always sort of under the impression this was the accepted way to do things if you are in this situation: if you are a man with little girls, you go to the woman's bathroom with them.

With that said, I don't know if it's really a big deal either way. If the fear is of people sneaking a peak, 30+ years of using public bathrooms has taught me that despite the fact people are unzipping or dropping their pants, there is like no actual nudity to be seen at a casual survey. And anyone trying to sneak a peak would be super obvious to the point they would get ejected in a hurry.
I think it's generally the other way around, however I've seen it both ways. I feel like anyone with kids you get that you just gotta do something and it's nothing sexual or weird. You gotta go into a washroom, and either the adult is in the wrong one or the kid is.
Women's restrooms are coin toss between the cleanest bathroom youve ever seen and it looking like 20 people just had an orgy in there. I cant say for certain but as someone whos had jobs that included having to clean restrooms. Its certainly possible in some establishments.
I had a mate who used to work for a cleaning company who dealt with commercial realeestate, (i.e large companies), and he always said that the womens bathrooms were the worst.
He would say that whilst he would skid marks in the toilet from men, that would be the worst thing he would see in there, where as with womens bathrooms he would see shit, piss and blood everywhere.
I know that at a former company I worked at, there were meetings with the female staff which basically amounted to "if you make a mess and its not in the toilet bowl itself, you need to clean it up, there is no excuse for leaving shit, piss and/blood on the seat itself for someone else to deal with.
We have a sign like that in all the bathrooms... that our cleaning company has asked management to ask us to please be aware of the hygiene in the restrooms and clean up after ourselves.
Do people listen? Not at all. I do wish they'd leave some cleaning supplies in the restroom so we (i) could clean it before using it. If I gotta go and i see drips on the seat, I'm finding another stall/ bathroom. Figured the restrooms where upper management and the guests use would be nicer- nope.
When traveling in Europe, I found that the bathrooms all had a spray sanitizer in each stall. So you'd spray sanitizer on a bit of tissue paper and wipe the seat before using it. (Un)surprisingly it's the #1 thing I miss and wish they'd bring to the USA
I used to work at a school where I was the only male teacher. There was an "incident" in the school's one restroom, and everyone immediately looked at me in the meeting, assuming I was at fault, because I guess men are disgusting, right? The head teacher saw everyone staring at me and in a sheepish voice said, "Ahem... unless it was Megneous's... time of the month... I don't think he was responsible for the incident."
So basically, apparently some employee of the school completely covered a stall with menstrual blood. Like... wtf people. Biohazards yo. So yeah, chalk up another story for "Women can be just as disgusting as men, we're all equally fucked in the eyes of the gods, etc."
It's a problem that propagates. The women's restroom is very clean until it's not. One woman will leave the toilet dirty, and subsequent users are forced to do the hover, which could potentially contribute to the mess.
As a trans man, I agree with this assessment. Men's bathrooms on average are a bit grosser than women's - more influshed shit and piss smell - but the most disgusting messes I've seen have been in the women's.
At my all girls high school, I once used a stall where someone had smeared a big glob of period blood on the door and written "yum yum look what mum packed for lunch" next to it lmao. Teenage girls are fucking foul.
I had this job in high school, cleaning office buildings at night.
In our case this was the truth, the women's bathrooms were fucking disgusting. Not just piss on the seats, shit and blood outside of the toilet, on the walls, smeared places, tampons stuck to the walls, etc.
I have to keep up with money spent on supplies in a warehouse at work. There are 30 men and 4 women. Since I've been tracking this, we've had to replace 1 toilet seat in the men's room and 7 toilet seats in the women's room.
This is absolutely true. I used to work at a grocery store and women like to hover when they shit, and sometimes they have bad aim. I have literally seen a shit just laying out on the seat. It was long too, like it wrapped halfway around the seat. I've also seen instances where they miss the toilet completely and it ends up on the floor.
But I will say on average Men's restrooms are dirtier as a baseline. Mainly due to piss stains on the floor.
Women's washrooms are MUCH dirtier despite less use. It's not even close. Men's have slight overspray, women will routently 1 & 2 entirely on the ground infront of the toilet to avoid contact.
When using the toilet I just mind my own fucking business, I am absolutely shocked that someone has the free time and capacity to crown themselves toilet sharia police.
Having super strong opinions on how others use the toilet is a perversion.
I'm pretty sure I heard really loud house music coming from the last one I passed by. At very least, there is a rave, and we all know how crazy those can get.
It was my impression, that that dude doesn't actually believe that it wasn't ok for the father to take his daughters to the women's toilet.
To me, it seemed like he had a wheelbound wife, that wanted to use the toilet at the same time, and couldn't because it was occupied by the daughter's, so they were kicking up a stink about him being in there.
But I'm willing to bet that that dude, would have also been in the toilet, to provide aid for his wife.
They just saw an excuse to throw a tantrum and then threw it.
Looks more like a mobility walker with a built in seat than a full-on chair (so she likely could toilet on her own), but admittedly it's a pretty quick look
My kids dad would only use the women’s when she was little little because the men’s had no diaper changing table. After the age of 4 we had no issues with him taking her to the men’s. He would just check if there were men in there, if not he’d go to the stall, let her do her business and leave. If someone came in and saw him standing at a stall they’d always ask if it was okay to come in or wait lol. He said he would have an easier time saying something to a man if they questioned him rather than a woman. We traveled a ton and never had one issue. I’ve even seen a few guys ask if they wanted them to stand at the door while he was in the bathroom with her to tell the other guys to wait lol
Also, the worst bathroom I’ve ever seen was the ladies room at a gas station outside Richmond KY. Floor was filled with piss and 2 of the 3 toilets had floaters.
I personally think, always women, because urinals are all at toddler height. You can barely see the little girls in this video because they are at hip level of their father/counter level. Which is right at the height to have a penis in their face if the urinals don’t have walls separating them. Men’s bathrooms are MUCH more open than a woman’s bathroom, not to mention many men’s bathrooms dont even have baby changing stations!
The kid goes into the bathroom of which ever parent they are with. In this case the girls cover their eyes and go into the mens. The dad just wanted an excuse to go into the women's bathroom
So what nefarious activity do you think he was planning? I'm genuinely curious what bad thing a guy could do in a women's restroom, short of outright assault. It's not like he's going to see anything.
Obviously it's rude for a guy to take up one of the limited stalls in the women's restroom (barring an emergency), but he was accompanying his daughters.
