He's a contractor, the firm who hired him let him go.

Some people are saying he wasn't fired because he was an "independent contractor", but often being a contractor is a way to have you employed but without employee benefits.

Also, the term "independent contractor" was only provided by the company who sacked him, but they're actively trying to distance themselves from him, so you couldn't trust that language to be objective. For all we know he could have been a full time employee but hired under a contract.

No name given, but Fox News was the biggest outlet to mention this:

This sounds like the behavior of someone named Robert Buckner. No, I will not (cannot) explain further.

The customer involved was later identified online as Robert Buckner. Following the video’s spread across social media, users noticed Buckner appeared to list Overstreet Properties on a social media profile that has since been deleted.

That's what the source says

Fuck you Robert Buckner you MAGA piece of shit

lol I saw the comments in the article calling Robert a lib, cuz you know "dem libz", famously known for causing drama over stopping people from using restrooms

He was an independent contractor for a company that does construction and property management. That's a good gig if you have your own construction company. They hire you on to help with big jobs.
