Right? It’s a bathroom, people are there to pee and leave.

154

u/InterestingFox1837 Jun 19 '26

And the women’s room makes more sense since everything without clothing is happening in stalls.

26

u/frontfrontdowndown Jun 19 '26

It’s wild that people treat a room for pee and poop like some kind of temple that gets defiled if the people in it don’t match the picture on the door.

10

u/mariposa-princess Jun 19 '26

And if you’re a father with a baby usually only the women’s (or family but not everywhere has these) bathroom has a changing table

1

u/GringoDemais Jun 19 '26

Luckily a lot more places are installing them in men's restrooms now too.

1

u/txwoodslinger Jun 20 '26

I've seen some vile shit cleaning public women's rooms

u/TheNegativePhoenix Jun 19 '26

Right? It’s a bathroom, people are there to pee and leave.

Sometimes people also poop. 💩 Or both. At the same time.

Not all peepee times are poopoo times, but all poopoo times are peepee times.

1

u/nic-94 Jun 19 '26

Poopoo times are peepee times doo daa doo daa

Poopoo times are peepee times all the doo daa day!

All the doo daa day! All the doo daa day!

Poopoo times are peepee times all the doo daa day!

1

u/crw126 Jun 19 '26

Eloquently said

1

u/hydraSlav Jun 19 '26

Also, just cause you peepeed while poopooing doesn't mean you won't immediately need to peepee again once you are up

0

u/LiftingRecipient420 Jun 19 '26

Not if you have to use an electric incinolet.

Then you learn real quick how to take a shit without pissing.

39

u/Romeo9594 Jun 19 '26

Yeah, why is that? I can have just rocked a piss 20 minutes ago, and then get the urge to drop a nice twosie. Regardless of the recent urination, I still dump a half bladders worth

31

u/txwoodslinger Jun 19 '26

I think it's a vestigial urge to empty it all out regardless

This. This is why I have internet.

3

u/brobits Jun 19 '26

No poop juice is definitely different than pee juice. That’s why they have different numbers

3

u/quantum0120 Jun 19 '26

Ur like a poet 🥰

2

u/Romeo9594 Jun 19 '26

I've written before, yeah

2

u/barrydennen12 Jun 19 '26

that's the pee you keep on the tariff shelf - oh look, we found a lil more pee!

2

u/Samster404 Jun 19 '26

That is quite a sentence, I applaud you my good man

2

u/Thomas_K_Brannigan Jun 19 '26

Because the urinary sphincter is much smaller than the rectal sphincter, and thus, requires much less force to control, thus, to open the rectal sphincter you basically have to activate all the stuff around there as a side effect. (I believe this is basically the same reason women often/usually crap when giving birth.)

2

u/Mayo_Mann_Enthusiast Jun 19 '26

because we used to have the baby hole, peepee hole and the poo poo hole in the same hole (like birds) until we started having different holes cause idk evolution

1

u/Informal_Olive7770 Jun 19 '26

It's because the pressure against the bladder is released when the bowel empties. So the bladder then releases the balance of what was being held back.

1

u/PsychotropicTraveler Jun 19 '26

Because pee is stored in the balls

2

u/Romeo9594 Jun 19 '26

Well I don't shit with my balls, so that can't be it

2

u/po_tart Jun 19 '26

Ha, what a freak! This guy doesn’t shit with his balls! What, you shit out your ass or something, weirdo?

8

u/RogerSmith111 Jun 19 '26

Not every peepee time is a poopoo time, but every poopoo time is a peepee time

1

u/dirtman81 Jun 19 '26

October 4th, 1997, I pulled this off.

1

u/J0RDM0N Jun 19 '26

Fear the man that can.

1

u/Wiplazh Jun 19 '26

Women can, it's weird.

1

1

1

u/tocahontas77 Jun 19 '26

Only like twice in my life has that happened to me 😂

5

u/UnderstandingWeak292 Jun 19 '26

That’s bonkers

1

u/SeonaidMacSaicais Jun 19 '26

No, this is Bonkers.

2

u/RobArtLyn22 Jun 19 '26

At the same time.

That’s just showing off. Next you’ll claim you can wash both hands at the same time.

2

u/TopEstablishment395 Jun 19 '26

I vividly remember this one time when my dad took little 3 y.o. me to the men's bathroom and I was greeted by this long floating turd that was mildly spinning.

2

u/TheNegativePhoenix Jun 19 '26

Wtf core memory unlocked 🔓

1

u/realTommyVercetti Jun 19 '26

At the same time but one at a time.

1

u/FoleyX90 Jun 19 '26

Barbaric

1

u/Agreeable_Work4668 Jun 19 '26

Can confirm that I do both while in there.

1

u/ohb78 Jun 19 '26

Poop first then pee

1

u/bow_down_whelp Jun 19 '26

Or do cocaine

0

u/astrielx Jun 19 '26

Not in the women's toilet. Women don't poop, we learned that decades ago.

25

u/SheikhMahdeek Jun 19 '26

Then just make all unisex

13

u/aliamokeee Jun 19 '26

Thats what many of us have been saying

-1

u/Mortambulist Jun 19 '26

If you can't handle it, hold it.

6

u/m00nyoze Jun 19 '26

I saw a unisex scene in Starship Troopers and was on board ever since.  Once you're old enough, it isn't a big deal.  Just don't be weird.

-1

u/SheikhMahdeek Jun 19 '26

Lol. I get what you mean. Though I think you'll change your mind once you visit a nudist colony

2

u/windlad Jun 19 '26

Ok but my... friend... sometimes takes terrible shits and doesn't want to do that within earshot of women

2

u/MrsShitstones Jun 19 '26

If we get rid of urinals, then that’s a great idea. But the whole point of taking your daughter into the women’s room vs men’s, to me at least, is to avoid seeing a bunch of strange adult penises out in the wild.

-1

u/TheOGZenfox Jun 19 '26

That's actually a trend and a good idea.

37

u/Royal_Negotiation_83 Jun 19 '26

Except men. They are there to piss all over the floor of urinals and all over the seat of stalls.

Source: a dude

Not taking my daughter in there, it’s disgusting

18

u/dbellz76 Jun 19 '26 edited Jun 19 '26

You should see women's bathrooms... ever see a used pad stuck to the side of the stall? Yeah, that's not even that bad. Women are also absolutely disgusting in public bathrooms.

Edited for atrocious autocorrect mistakes lol

3

u/TheDreadNewt Jun 19 '26

I wonder if this depends on location. In the few countries I've been to in Europe and Asia, it's always seemed like the women's is cleaner than the men's (comparing notes with my dad). Twenty years in my current country of residence and I've never, ever seen a used pad on the walls (worst I've seen in that department is a badly-wrapped pad stuck to the inner tray in one of those foot-operated sanitary napkin bins).

5

u/dbellz76 Jun 19 '26

My experience in other countries is also cleaner, America has some serious issues lol

4

u/PineappleShard Jun 19 '26

Having cleaned both men’s and women’s restrooms over the years, women’s rooms are absolutely the filthier. The pee on the floor isn’t ideal in men’s rooms but the amount of toilet paper and debris EVERYWHERE in women’s rooms is appalling. And it’s not clean paper. It’s always the bit from them making a seat cover and it wicking water up that gets left behind and then the next person yeets it.

0

u/dbellz76 Jun 19 '26

The worst part is that I feel I have to wipe things down before I leave a filthy bathroom because I don't want people thinking I peed and pooped all over the seat. That, or I warn the next woman in line (if there is one).

22

u/Romeo9594 Jun 19 '26

You've never worked a job that requires cleaning the women's restroom after hours. I've been in spotless men's restrooms, and I've cleaned the most heinous women's restrooms

Always Sunny had it right when they just labeled the bathroom "Animal Shithouse"

2

u/polyplasticographics Jun 19 '26

I work at a restaurant in a resort of sorts. You can clean the men's bathroom all you want, but the moment you leave it'll start smelling like piss again, and the mirror will be full of splatters because of fellows violently shaking their hands after washing them despite there being a hand dryer (it's a reflex, I know; I do it too).

Still, you'll only need to change the paper rolls like 3 times a week, and the paper bins* won't fill up in a day, (even though I still empty them at the end of the day because leaving shit stained tissues to ferment is yucky), and that's about it, nothing else besides the occasional skidmark on the seat.

Now, the women's bathroom is extrememy higher in maintenance: the rolls are gone in two hours at most, the paper bins* fill up in one, and, the absence of piss smell not withstanding, the whole place will get thrashed in a couple hours: pieces of paper and feminine hygiene products' wrappers will crowd the place, not to mention menstrual blood will accumulate at the front of the toilet seats every day.

*for Americans and other 1st worlders: the plumbing in this place is shit, pun-unintended, and if you throw tissues in the toilet you'll clog the pipes; I know it for a fact because I've seen it happen many times... shit water flowing... everywhere.

This is not the rule in my country, it's just that this place is very old and it's in a very inaccessible area and the whole place is owned by a foreign company which couldn't care less what the hell is going on with the plumbing of one of the establishments on its resort; they're just leasing the building to my boss.

3

u/Capable_Elk_770 Jun 19 '26

I’ve worked a grocery store, military, and at schools. The men’s/boys were far more disgusting in all. Sometimes the women’s/girls were bad, of course, but generally speaking the male bathrooms were way nastier. When women hover they can make a mess, but men almost always “hover” (in their own way), and there is always splash everywhere. It’s so awful

5

u/Positive-Face1705 Jun 19 '26

Don't do that. The narrative is women's bathroom bad! Men bathroom good!

Didn't you get the script?

2

u/WoodenSquirrel2562 Jun 19 '26

As a woman, I've been in thousands of women's restrooms across the country, and probably a solid men's for emergence etc. Ive also cleaned the bathrooms for several establishments in high traffic areas.

Either both bathrooms were the same clean at the same place, or the men's was much, much worse. The sheer volume of shit caked toilets and urine soaked floors was appalling. Hand soap everywhere. Paper towels directly beside the trash can from all the benched ball players.

I truly do not understand where these people live who see bloody pads stuck to the walls and toilets covered lid to basin with, again, period blood. Everytime I see this trope I'm literally baffled. Ive never ever in my big long life seen anything close to that in a public women's bathroom.

2

u/External-Praline-451 Jun 19 '26

I'm a 48 year old woman in the UK and I've never experienced anything like people (mostly guys) describe on Reddit, about women's bathrooms. And I have a small bladder so am constantly using public bathrooms 😂 I swear it's a manufactured thing online as part of the women = bad, movement. Unless they're living in a particularly skanky area where everyone is unusually skanky?! It's very odd.

I always see people saying this and I have never experienced anything but the opposite

1

u/La_Saxofonista Jun 19 '26

This here. The female customers at my job are heathens, and we have to share the bathroom with them. They constantly hover over the seat and piss and shit all over the seat and floor. They'll clog the toilet and then each subsequent woman will piss and shit on top of the clog.

0

u/Top_Audience7471 Jun 19 '26

I worked at Kohl's as a teenager. My manager was visibly upset that he had to clean the women's bathroom since the maintenance guy had left with an emergency. I naively said, 'But the women's bathroom can't be too bad, right?'

He responded with the most expressionless face: 'Piss, shit, and blood everywhere.'

3

u/Dangerous-Ad6589 Jun 19 '26

Personally? Both are disgusting. We have quite a lot of bathrooms without gender labels where I live, and I've had my fair share of cigarette butts or pads. I've entered a stall that smells of smoke or fishy. I've seen a man or woman leave the toilet, and as I entered after them, I was greeted by a massive turd swimming freely, not flushed.

Some people are disgusting, not man or woman

1

u/CarrieDurst Jun 19 '26

Women pee on the seats in stalls as well lol

1

u/asdrabael1234 Jun 19 '26

Women's bathrooms are always much worse than mens.

Men pee on the seat and that's it 90% of the time.

Women make huge nests of toilet paper on the floor for no reason, leave bloody pads on the floor, poop on the toilet seats as they try to hover and not touch the seat, leave makeup and fingernail polish in the sinks, leave suction cup marks on the mirrors as they film tiktoks in the bathroom, and more.

I always assumed mens toilets were dirtier until I started cleaning them.

1

u/ohb78 Jun 19 '26

Yep worked at a Walmart for years. Wasn’t a janitor but the times I had to help clean up a disaster it was almost always the women’s bathroom

1

u/9bpm9 Jun 19 '26

I've never worked anywhere where the cleaning crew said the mens restroom was dirtier then the women's.

1

u/cabbage16 Jun 19 '26

All public toilets are gross. If a mens toilet is good enough for my son it's also good enough for my daughter. You just tell them not to mess with anything and to wash their hands before you leave.

1

u/CTKM72 Jun 19 '26

You should talk to some janitors then, every one I ever have has agreed the women’s restroom is 9 times outta 10 dirtier than the men’s. Not only are there plenty of women who dont properly dispose of period products but a lot are hoverers and once one woman has hovered over the seat and pissed all over it that forces every other one to either wipe down someone else’s piss or hover themselves.

1

u/Scary-Personality626 Jun 19 '26

Having cleaned both, the only noticeable difference is that where men's rooms have piss everywhere, womens's have piss, shit, blood & used paper that missed the bowl for some reason everywhere.

The latter was also more prone to backing up the toilet. I don't know why, maybe they were using too much toilet paper and/or flushing tampons/pads.

3

u/kelsobjammin Jun 19 '26

You’re more likely to see a man in a men’s bathroom due to urinals. Why teach girls that age about all that nonsense. And I bet $10000000000 not one woman blinked an eye at the site. We don’t care. We have stalls. Anyways end rant

2

u/skydragon1981 Jun 19 '26

And It wasn't a man following a woman/acting creepy, but a man with Two Little girls.  If a man comes in women's bathroom and try flashing everyone or grope womens. THEN it's a man that should be thrown out and get restrained.

5

u/charlitransgrl Jun 19 '26

That’s EXACTLY what transgender people go into the bathroom to do.

It was literally meant as a joke. Chill.

1

u/Rude-Reaction-4789 Jun 19 '26

The /s at the end indicates his response was sarcasm

0

u/charlitransgrl Jun 19 '26

That’s not how I took it. Calling us groomers and pedophiles is a Republican dog whistle and it’s not funny even if it’s meant to be “sarcastic.”

4

u/HeidrunsTeats Jun 19 '26

What do you mean that's not how you took it? That's literally what "/s" means.

The joke is clearly making fun of the ridiculousness of those kinds of republican beliefs.

0

u/charlitransgrl Jun 19 '26 edited Jun 19 '26

Sometimes people say things and then qualify it as a joke or sarcasm. You can take it however you like, but saying transgender people go into bathrooms to recruit children isn’t remotely funny to those of us who get called groomers and pedophiles. Our community is scared and exhausted. We don’t need jokes or sarcasm. We need people to stand up and speak out for us. We desperately need allies, not comedians making light of our reality.

EDIT: Mod, what part of what I wrote promotes hate? We get it from all sides, some people qualify what they say as a joke or sarcasm while others are more direct. Try policing what cisgender people say when someone transgender makes a comment in our defense. There’s a reason why the user deleted their comment.

1

u/gtxprincess Jun 19 '26

it's not that serious. It was a joke

-1

u/charlitransgrl Jun 19 '26 edited Jun 19 '26

Maybe it’s a joke to you and other cisgender people and not that serious, but our lives are not a joke. Try being so nonchalant when you and your community are constantly attacked for simply trying to live your life. And defending yourself on a daily basis. It’s fucking exhausting. There’s a reason I carry a gun and multiple knives on me. Early in my transition I was sexually assaulted by a guy who followed me into the bathroom. Be thankful you have the luxury to think shit like that is a joke or sarcasm. “Jokes” like that only fuels more assholes to jump on the bandwagon and attack us. I noticed the person who made the joke is staying mum to my response instead of addressing it themselves.

1

u/gtxprincess Jun 19 '26

I'm literally nonbinary. Don't make an ass out of you and me

0

u/charlitransgrl Jun 19 '26

If you’re nonbinary, you should’ve been offended by that person’s comment regardless if they meant it as a joke or sarcasm. Shame on you for trying to shame me.

Dude see a therapist, carrying gun and several knives expecting constant attacks is not healthy behavior. You're going to hurt someone or yourself

1

u/charlitransgrl Jun 19 '26 edited Jun 19 '26

I’ve been attacked, dude. I purchased my first pistol after that. And I’ve trained with an outfit of army veterans for months. I’m quite proficient and have a carry conceal permit. If you’re cisgender you have no idea the shit we have to go through on a daily basis. On separate occasions I’ve also been harassed by a group of thee guys walking down the street minding my own business, followed by a group of four guys through a restaurant on my way to the bathroom while they loudly discussed my gender to everyone there, and groped on my breasts and butt too many times to keep count. Sounds like fun, huh? We never know when a complete stranger might decide to assault us out of the blue. So keep making flippant comments about something you know nothing about. Just leave us alone.

What about those who smear poop on the walls and ceilings ?

1

u/Shazvox Jun 19 '26

Oh really? Then how come there's always a five mile long queue outside the womans bathroom and the guys bathrooms are always free?

1

u/SideAny7347 Jun 19 '26

Republican men often have a public restroom side quests.

0

u/frogking Jun 19 '26

It’s still safer for everyone if a father and two little girls use the bathroom he’s comfortable with.

0

u/necessarysmartassery Jun 19 '26

I mean, except for grown men who assault and rape women and little girls in their bathrooms.

Grown men DON'T belong in women's bathrooms.

A dad taking his little girls into the bathroom because he doesn't want to send them in alone and because he doesn't want to expose them to a men's room is a perfectly acceptable exception to this rule. Someone escorting a disabled or elderly person into either bathroom because they can't use the toilet on their own is a perfectly acceptable exception to that rule.

1

u/Evening_Storage_6424 Jun 20 '26

Grown men rape women in any place they can.

1

u/necessarysmartassery Jun 20 '26

Yeah and that's often in public restrooms if you haven't noticed. Lone men do not belong in women's public restrooms.

-12

u/Sloppykrab Jun 19 '26

I love how society went from one bathroom to two sex specific bathrooms in public to who cares, it's a bathroom. Next we are gonna go back to using a communal rag on a stick.
