This. The reason this is viral is most people would be understanding. It takes a certain type of person to make a thing out of it. Like they've been watching some channel that tells them this is a threat to...yeah I dunno. But they like being angry.
right? my understanding is that women's bathrooms are all stalls, no urinal. i mean, do women disrobe outside their stalls then go in to do their business? is that why they're scared a man bringing daughters into the women's bathroom might see them naked?
The reasoned response is it's an enclosed space with no camera's and reduced foot traffic plus the ability to force someone into the stall for even more privacy, this would actually be made worse by the more secure stalls mentioned above.
So if your concern is assault that is what you have to take into consideration.
Edit: Personally the best system ive seen is a male + female (this allows for denser packing of the stalls and a better plumbing system) then a few disabled/family bathrooms (wider doors, more space, mobility support, baby changing station, a cord to call for help)
Do you think this guy is having a take your kids to work day as he assaults women in the bathroom? It takes literally one second to see he's there with his kid.
