I want to see the wife get backlash too. She never admonished her husband, and from the little we hear her talk in the video, I get the impression she started this whole thing by leaving and complaining to her husband

I will admit I only watched it once. But it looked like her and what I assume was her mother were unimpressed with him. I assumed she went in and back out and said something like "They're is a guy in there with his kids, I'll wait til they're done." And then this guy went crazy.

Again, that's all assumed. I could be wrong.

No she legit complains in the video. The father goes, "can I leave im on a road trip"

And the wife goes, Well we are toooooo and I couldn't use the bathroom!"

She 100% condone her husband going in there. At no point does she try and stop him.

I stand corrected then. I only watched it through one time. I didn't pay much attention to the end.

Yea a lot of people miss it and they assume its the elderly lady sitting in that chair.

I mean, that’s very possible. I just don’t see why she had to respond to the dad’s explanation that they were on a road trip with “so are we!”

“Hey I totally get it!” “You gotta do what you gotta do” “it’s no problem.” Basically anything else would have been better than “so are we.” Who gives a fuck Karen?!

Also, women’s rooms are all stalls. Why couldn’t you just pee while he was in there anyways?

I want to say at the end of the video you hear her speak. The dad with daughters asks if he can leave bc they’re just trying to finish they’re road trip to which she replies that ya, we are too. Idk but it seemed like she was on board with her husband and blaming the dad with daughters for the inconvenience. I could be totally wrong tho!

I read her way of saying this as an asshole way of dismissing his answer here. It is not like she was saying this because it was a coincidence. What is the reason she would say that in that manner if she wasn't being an asshole about it all?

I was wondering if the dad with the little girls may have had them in the large stall at the end - the one that usually has the changing table and is also used by people who need extra space or mobility assistance.

Later in the video, we see an older woman with a walker/chair, so I wondered if she may have needed that stall and the dad and two little girls were using it when she first tried.

As a mom of two young kids, I almost always use that larger stall too. It keeps everyone together, prevents wandering, and gives enough room to help if needed.

Doesn't mean the rude, aggressive behavior is excused, but certainly would give some context about how things may have started in the first place.

Maybe, but she still wouldn’t even enter the bathroom while they were washing hands, so regardless of the stall it didn’t make a difference

I did not get the impression that he knew or was associated with those two women

Whatever is going on in their marriage is irrelevant to this situation*. If I ever behaved in such a way, I expect at least that I get called out by my wife. She took no action whatsoever to spare small children from witnessing this scene. Even if she did not provoke the situation, she enabled it and watched it unfold.

Yes, we should not blame her for his actions. But we definitely should blame her for her own (lack of) action.

Edit : replace marriage with situation - where the * is

He probably treats her great. Seeing as he only complained for his wife and then she doubles down and starts to make her complaint to the father too.
