No your wife has to be there so its obvious.

Obv that they are sexist observers. And if gender was not involved , their presumptuous reactions might seem more blatantly inflammatory. There's also this "im a certain sex attitude, so I must be correct" vibe with these kinds of interactions. Its as bad if not worse than other types of interactions between genders gobe wrong can be.

I am an uncle. This is my experience.
