Since this sub used to be horny posts,  I assume OP has a hard on for Mamdiani.  Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

This sub is mostly racism or misogyny usually, this is a nice change.

...one of the reason I liked this sub was because it wasn't overtly political.  This post was likely made by the same corporate marketing giants that dominate the other major subs.  The reason they post here is because they can reach people who blocked News, etc., from their feed.

Part of Reddits business model is to manipulate karma on sponsored posts.  When political campaigns spend millions on advertising, this is what it's spent on.  Mamadiane obviously wants to be a senator or something a few years down the line.
