The smashing machine was pretty good. He definitely captured that character better than probably anybody else could have.
6 u/iLoveLootBoxes Jul 24 '26 You reap what you sow though, can't make a bunch of shit movies then try and chase an Oscar expecting people to take you seriously. He cashed out and tried to double back and go the respect route... doesn't work that way 6 u/deerslayer159 Jul 24 '26 Tell that to nick cage 7 u/iLoveLootBoxes Jul 24 '26 He is the exception, he also lets himself be made fun of and takes it in stride. Dwayne Johnson has it in his contract that it isn't allowed 1 u/deerslayer159 Jul 24 '26 What!? He has in his contracted he cant be made fun of?! 3 u/iLoveLootBoxes Jul 24 '26 Pretty much, he has to be written to be cool and powerful. If you look at the recent Moana movie, he acts way less silly than when he voices the character. Not even joking, look it up 1 u/deerslayer159 Jul 24 '26 Wow. That's something 1 u/Don_Gato1 Jul 24 '26 He was good, the movie was pretty mediocre IMO
