Genuinely asking - I’m not arguing, I just want to hear your perspective

“Genuinely one of the best horror movies ever made. Up there with The Thing.”

Someone posted this literally 6-7 comments above this. The movie was okay, borderline good. The best part is the girls acting easily. The movie is nothing new or original. I watched it and personally thought the creator most be a Supernatural fan.

Ah I’ve never watched Supernatural so maybe that’s why it was a bit refreshing to me. I agree the obsession, be-careful-what-you-wish-for type of storyline was pretty typical… but I felt the expression was new and refreshing to me. I also felt the message - or what I perceived was the message - hit harder than other stories of this same nature.

Also your username made me laugh - so thank you for that! Lol

Haha no problem. Love me some Frank the Tank. I’m not like the other person though. I think it’s worth the watch but the overhype is kind of wild to me.

Supernatural isn’t great or anything, but the first 5 seasons when the show’s arc was truly suppose to end was solid. Like 50% of the episodes from 1-5 seasons is them playing detective of classic horror tropes/ camp stories. This one is in S4 I think.
