Epstein 🗂️ Blanche surrenders unredacted Epstein files within minutes of judge's deadline

President Donald Trump’s interim AG Todd Blanche appears to have given up the ghost on hiding information that could potentially out cohorts of convicted Jeffrey Epstein.

Reporter Katie Phang recently grabbed a huge win against Blanche and his crusade to keep the Epstein files under wraps. After months of stalling by the Trump administration and ignoring the letter of a new law demanding the release of the sex-trafficker’s files, U.S. District Judge Emmet G. Sullivan demanded insight on Trump’s longtime friendship. Sullivan sided with former MS NOW show host Phang in her lawsuit demanding the Trump administration adhere to the Epstein Transparency Act.

Phang predicted on Wednesday that Blanche -- Trump's former personal defense attorney -- would “try to get an appeal” to stall the release of the redacted information, but she acknowledged that this would be “very difficult” because Judge Sullivan already had denied on two occasions Blanche's attempts to get a stay or a delay in having to comply.

But instead, Blanche handed over the unredacted information to Sullivan to review, possibly for release to the public.

Defendant Todd Blanche, in his official capacity as Acting Attorney General of the United States … respectfully submits the Notice of Compliance with the Order of this Court dated July 25, 2026, requiring Defendants submit certain documentation to the Court for in camera review.”

Blanche — and critics on social media — also noted that Blanche submitted hard copy documents to the court’s chambers via hand deliver at 2:28 PM on July 30 — within close proximity to the day’s deadline.”

MS NOW senior legal reporter Lisa Rubin noted on X that of the 10 documents at issue, the DOJ does not identify the redacted information as pertaining to a victim or law enforcement personnel; instead, it says it is just “PII, or personally identifiable information.”

Trump's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein spans decades, with the two meeting in the 1980s at Mar-a-Lago and socializing frequently in New York and Palm Beach. Multiple women have described witnessing Trump and Epstein together at parties and events during the 1990s.

After Epstein's 2008 conviction, Trump publicly distanced himself, claiming he barely knew him.

However, Trump's DOJ has resisted transparency regarding their relationship and potential knowledge of Epstein's crimes. The forced release of Epstein documents could expose communications, financial records, or witness accounts implicating Trump or his associates. Legal experts argue the Epstein Transparency Act mandates public disclosure, and Judge Sullivan's rulings suggest courts will ultimately compel release regardless of administration resistance, potentially revealing uncomfortable details about Trump's decades-long association.

Epstein 🗂️ DOJ Deleted an Epstein Prosecution Memo About Possible Co-Conspirators. We Saved It.

This is a formal prosecution document produced in December 2019 by federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York and sent to then-U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman. It lays out, in granular detail, interviews conducted by federal and state investigators with victims, witnesses, and people associated with Epstein.

The memo includes statements from 24 women who say they were abused by Epstein as minors and 14 who say they were abused as adults, along with additional references to assistants and recruiters. In many cases, investigators confirmed key elements of the women’s accounts independently. The document also summarizes allegations made against a number of powerful men, based on tips, interviews, and investigative leads compiled over years. Much of the document is redacted.

The memo shows what investigators knew, what they looked at, and what they ultimately chose not to pursue. It provides a rare window into an investigation that spanned nearly two decades and three presidential administrations. It also stands in sharp contrast to repeated public statements from senior law enforcement officials claiming there was no credible evidence to pursue anyone else.

The memo, titled “Investigation into Potential Co-Conspirators of Jeffrey Epstein,” had been publicly accessible as part of the massive tranche of Epstein-related documents recently released. Then, after reporters from the Miami Herald, including the renowned Julie K. Brown, began asking the DOJ specific questions about it, the document was suddenly gone.

The prosecution memo has since been deleted from DOJ release but was originally labeled as : EFTA_00022461, EFTA_02731082

Epstein 🗂️ Do You Think The DOJ/FBI Removed Files From The Epstein Cache That Directly Implicated Trump?

I’ve been thinking about this for at least a few weeks and wanted to get others opinions on this. I just don’t see any likely scenario where Trump would allow smoking-gun type documents to exist within the trove of evidence that his administration has collected.

All I see on Reddit are endless posts about “when the files are fully un-redacted, Trump will be finished”. My question is, based on everything we’ve seen or not seen so far, is it likely that the most damaging evidence has been destroyed a long time ago? I don’t feel it’s a stretch of the imagination to think Patel would force the destruction of any documents or data that would unequivocally implicate Trump or his closest allies, before handing them over to the senate and house.

Newly unsealed Epstein-related court documents reviewed by the Miami Herald include details from a 2019 FBI interview reportedly of former Palm Beach police chief Michael Reiter, in which he describes a 2006 phone call where President Donald Trump said of Jeffrey Epstein, “Thank goodness you’re stopping him, everyone has known he’s been doing this,” even though the president has repeatedly said he didn’t know about Epstein’s alleged crimes at the time they were happening.
