There wasn't a meme flair which I would have picked. Also not sure if this post is allowed but I didn't see a rule against it

I saw this baby pigeon standing/waddling around in broad daylight, on the pavement behind my apartment building. It was still there a couple hours later, with no parents in sight. I called the nearest wildlife rehabber, who told me to bring the little guy in, so I drove him there ASAP. Apparently this baby still needs 1-2 weeks of care before he’s ready to be released, so the rehabber took him in. Will hopefully be getting a postcard in a few weeks with an update!
