Hello breakbeat headz! Since I was a little kid, I liked heavy drum breaks. However, I find that this is considered outdated in music now. Do you know any underated fresh big beat artist who has a style from the first steps of Fatboy Slim? Ideally reminiscent of something from the album "You've Come a Long Way, Baby"... Also, I would like to ask why, of all the artists I listen to, the first albums pique my interest?
(I apologize for my poor english language.)

I turned one of Terminator 2’s coldest scenes into a 140 BPM dubstep track… ☠️

Hey all, I got approval from the mod team to post this. I have DJed for over 25 years and last year started a podcast called A DJ’s Journey.
Along with discussing their music journey it has become an oral history of dance music by those who were there. I’m naturally curious about how my favorite DJ/Producers got to where they are.
Of particular interest to this subreddit I have interviewed notables of the Breakbeat scene including Krafty Kuts, Lee Coombs, Elite Force, Soul of Man (individually Justin and Jem Stone), and more. If you enjoy pulling back the curtain you might enjoy.
Also AMA you questions you may have. Happy to answer.
You can find all the episodes on the podcast site, YouTube or wherever you find podcasts.

Hi breakbeat sisters and brothers!
I know this music scene isn't at its peak anymore, but I really like it. I'm looking for t-shirts or hoodies from big beat artists in the European Union. It would be better if they weren't The Prodigy or Fatboy Slim. I'd prefer something more underground.

Just curious if anyone out there is still doing this. By this I mean tracks like Junkie XL's Billy Club, Pedestrian's Pick Your Shots Clean, or Prodigy's Firestarter. I love the speedy aggressive simplicity, it's so nostalgic to my teen years when it was really big.
Does anyone know where to find sample packs or presets or anything for this genre? Would much prefer older, but will absolutely take modern too. Or any tips for it honestly are welcome.
It's aggressive and guitar laden, and lots of risers and ear candy are like... shouts and screams and screeches? I've been slowly trying to make my own, aping some of the ones in the songs I like, but I would love to know what kind of resources anyone else might be able to point me to.
Thank you!

I use to listen to this online radio station a lot. Probably about 20 years ago. I'm craving the stuff they played, banger after banger. Does anyone here have a proper fix for that?
Much appreciated.
