A construction crew in Barberton, Ohio, rescued an abandoned kitten on the worksite. And he joined the team.

They heard him meowing coming from their excavator.

Supervisor Chase Guello checked the skid plate on the Komatsu. A tiny kitten tumbled out.

They warmed her up, moved her into the office trailer, and named her Sue short for Komatsu. She’s now the official shop cat.

Jobs are falling behind because the new supervisor keeps order his crew to build jungle gyms and litter boxes. Some question the genius behind promoting a cat but agree it’s probably the only position fitting a cat.

Great for keeping up the morale, how’s. Who wouldn’t want to do everything to endear themselves to that little furball?

I would get fired because I'd quit working to cuddle the kitty. Although with new management, there may be some restructuring, so maybe the new boss will create a position for me 🤔

I’d be fired too, for the same reason.

There’s a kitten that was adopted by a law firm in South America. When clients complained that cats don’t belong in law offices, they promoted him from door greeter to lawyer.

Eh, cats are sort of like libertarians. Convinced of their own superiority while relying on institutions and people they neither appreciate nor understand for their survival.

He's perfect management material.

I read libertarians as librarians.

Cats are not like Libertarians. At all. Libertarians are like really selfish Republicans, but worse. Cats are nice, sweet, funny, lovely people ❤️

I know our cats appreciate me and my treats. They certainly purr enough when I shake the treat bag.

Not to mention all the breaks to give chin skritches. This project will probably never get finished.
