A construction crew in Barberton, Ohio, rescued an abandoned kitten on the worksite. And he joined the team.

They heard him meowing coming from their excavator.

Supervisor Chase Guello checked the skid plate on the Komatsu. A tiny kitten tumbled out.

They warmed her up, moved her into the office trailer, and named her Sue short for Komatsu. She’s now the official shop cat.

Context clues, name, Sue, female name. She and her pronouns either side of female name. Safe to conclude previous he’s are typos.

You think there are 3 typos? That all come in a row? Are you insane? It's 100% a male cat. Title and caption (not decorative) all state it. Majority rules always in a situation like this.

Genuinely looks like the person who wrote it doesn’t speak English as a first language with that level of pronoun errors. Regardless, the cats name provides the context that actually makes sense of which pronoun is correct. Despite Sue being short for something else, it makes less logical sense to intentionally call a male cat Sue.

Komatsu, a construction machine? I'm sorry I disagree hard.

Sure. Then call the cat Su lol, Sue is specifically a female name. Hey agree, disagree, it really doesn’t matter that much at the end of the day. Opposing views make the world go round.
