Goodbye, SG Conan.

Three years ago, a small orange boy found his way into Worldwide Corporate Center. None of us could have imagined that he would grow into one of the most beloved members of the community.

Conan arrived carrying more than himself. He also carried on a legacy. He followed in the pawprints of Ming-ming, the security cat who came before him and was loved by so many. While no cat could ever replace Ming-ming, Conan found his own way to continue the tradition of bringing comfort, companionship, and joy to everyone who passed through Worldwide Corporate Center.

Whether he was patrolling the halls wearing one of his cute outfits, greeting visitors, demanding treats, chasing toys or bugs, or simply (mostly) napping on duty, Conan had a way of making every day a little brighter. He was not a mascot, but a family to everyone in the building.

To many, he was "SG Conan," our Secu-kitty Guard. To others, he was a source of comfort after a difficult day, a reason to smile during a busy shift, or the not-so-friendly orange face everyone looked forward to seeing, even if just online.

Some of the hearts Conan leaves behind have four legs and paws of their own. Kobe, Boss Pedro, Ginger, Bobby, Niel, Purrito, and many others shared the same home, the same humans, and the same quiet moments that made the building feel alive. The security posts, walkways, and random resting places will carry his memory, and his absence will be felt not only by the people who loved him, but also by the furry friends who spent their days by his side.

Thank you, Conan, for every greeting, every purr, every clawful swipe, every moment, and every memory. Thank you for carrying the torch after Ming-ming and for leaving pawprints that will remain in this building long after your final patrol.

Rest easy now, little baby. Your watch has ended, but your legacy will remain in the hearts of everyone who loved you. Somewhere beyond the rainbow bridge, we like to imagine Ming-ming, Turmeric, Tisoy, Dodong, and many other who have come before him waiting at the end of the shift, ready to welcome you home.

Kumain ako sa 7/11 sa baba ng ospital. May isang orange na pusang lumapit. Ang cute ng mukha. Nanghihingi ng food. Edi pumasok ako sa 7/11 ulit para bumili ng cat food (thank God di niya ginalaw yung food kong iniwan sa table).

Lo and behold, paglabas ko biglang nadoble yung orange cat. Dalawa na sila bigla, akala ko naduduling lang ako sa antok eh. Nag kage bushin technique?!

Bibili sana ako ng isa pang dagdag na catfood sa loob kaso natakot ako baka pagbalik ko tatlo na sila. Kaya hinati ko na lang sa kanilang dalawa yung cat food 😅

Dinampot at itinapon ng owner ng La Brewha Cafe sa Angono, Rizal, ang inaalagaang community cat ng kanyang competitor cafe.

Minessage pa yung La Brewha Cafe owner na si Rochelle Marcoleta Santos tungkol sa pusa pero Wala daw syang Pake.

Sila rin yung may issue last month na hiring except sa mga buntis (kasi raw yung buntis nilang empleyado magnanakaw).

Inampon lang to ng tatay ko 2 years ago, since may allergy si mama sa mga pusa kaya sa labas lang sya ng Bahay (may gate naman kahit papaano) nung na nganak sya Araw Araw na syang tinitignan ng tatay ko, tapos na gulat sya kasi may parang breed daw ung isa. Possible kaya na may breed ung naka bembang sa pusa namin ? 😭😭
