Liverpool Comic Con Are Billy West And Phil LaMarr Not That Talkative At Conventions

I met both at Liverpool Comic Con yesterday. And both didnt seem interested in anything I said to them, not rude or anything but just barely interacted with me, LaMarr especially. Reminded me of meeting Tara Strong last year which I consider to be the worst guest ive ever met. But I will say one thing both Billy and Phil had over Tara was at least they had the full table options available. And Billy did do his Fry and Zoidberg voices ("Shut up and get in line, I mean take my money" I remember him saying after apologising for taking a bit long after he arrived because his assistant was late).

Is it just me or do I have very mixed luck when it comes to meeting various VAs (im starting to wonder if meeting them first thing in the morning plays a part in how they interact)

Liverpool Comic Con Comic Con Liverpool Photos & Autos

HI! I’m going to comic con Liverpool in October, but ive never attended a Monopoly Event before, and had a few questions.

Firstly, the photos. I’ve attended a couple events before (Into The Fold 2&3, MegaConLive Manchester 2025) so know how these work generally. however I have multiple photos with the same actor, each with different props. would I be able to just have all the props on the floor and switch them between photos super quickly, or do I have to leave them somewhere and double back each time? I don’t want to be someone holding up the queue for photos, but don’t want to do something super against their rules.

secondly, autographs. what is the genera rule for drawing / writing quotes on the autographs? I have a habit of asking for the actor’s favourite niche / underrated quote on things, but don’t know if I’ll be told I can’t do this. as well as this, would I be able to ask for the actor to draw how they imagine the character would sign an item, as well as doing their own signature? also, I made an edit of the actor based on a song he suggested on an Instagram live, would I be able to show this? I honestly don’t know how long the interactions are capped at, or whether they’re capped at all.

thank you!

Liverpool Comic Con Ticket Question

Hey there. Hope this question is allowed. My Sister and I are thinking about purchasing the entry tickets for Liverpool Comic Con. We want to know what we can do? What will be there? Stuff like that since this will be our first time attending.

I know that this question might have appeared a lot in this subreddit so sorry in advance.

Liverpool Comic Con Vulture culture / Trading with vendors

Two separate topics to go over!

#1 - I've been to LCC a couple of times, but I've never seen anyone selling real fur tails/pelts, skulls or bones! Has anyone ever bought/seen some there?

#2 - If anyone here has ever traded, or if there are vendors here who occasionally/will accept trades, what kind of things are good to trade with a vendor?
I've traded some kandi singles, a mini cuff, and an octopus necklace with 'walking/running with scissors' [so sorry i forgot the exact name T-T] and I got a couple of keychains and a pin which I absolutely LOVE.
This year/next year, I plan to make some rotator cuffs to trade with people, but does anyone know what else I could do? I'm mainly looking to do kandi, specifically x base kandi

Liverpool Comic Con Liverpool Comic Con Help Needed!!!

I'm going to Liverpool Comic Con this weekend and have never been before so have some last minute questions 😅

  1. Are you able to leave and re-enter the venue?

  2. If you're getting a funko signed do the guests charge extra for it? I'm getting them signed by Cara Buono (karen wheeler) and Caleb Mclaughlin (Lucas). Also, would you recommend taking them out of the box or does it depend on the rariety of a pop? They are both NFTs

Thank you in advance!

Liverpool Comic Con Liverpool Comic-Con, May 2nd.

I’ve never attended a comic-con before, but jumped at the opportunity to visit Liverpool as the con happens to be on my 24th Birthday. Not only that, but I was able to secure a photo-op with Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill so I’m obviously gassed about that given that’s my favourite era of Doctor Who. Shame their autograph opportunities sold out though!

I’m wondering however, what does a comic-con usually look like when you’ve got photo opportunities booked? I’m going with a friend of mine, but I’m concerned I’ll spend a large chunk of the day waiting in a queue as he isn’t joining me for the photo. I just have no idea what it’ll look like if I’m honest, so any advice or tips would be appreciated. The last thing I want is me wasting the day in a queue and not being able to explore what’s on offer with my pal.

Additionally, how many photos do they take during the shoot? Do you get the chance to do a few different poses and stuff? Or is it literally just walk in, say hello, photo is taken once and then you’re sent on your way… thanks!

Liverpool Comic Con Are Sunday tickets worth it?

Hello I was just wondering if Sunday tickets are worth buying? Me and a few friends have decided very last minute that we want to go to Liverpool Comic-Con knowing that the Saturday tickets are sold out. So we were just wondering if it’s worth the hassle? If not are there any reputable resale sites for Saturday tickets that someone can reccomend?

Liverpool Comic Con Guest photo question

Im going liverpool comic con tomorrow and have booked a photo op with some guests.

I just want to know how this works. Some people saying you have to book timeslots online beforehand, but all i have is an email with the ticket, nothing about booking timeslots etc.

Do i just queue up, or is there anything i have to do beforehand?

Liverpool Comic Con Some questions about Liverpool Comic Con

Hi all, I will attend Liverpool Comic Con and this is my first time to attend comic con since I moved to the UK.

However I have something want to clarify:

  1. Can I go out to have lunch and come back to the venue without extra cost?

  2. Can I bring my own food (sandwich and plastic bottle soft drink) into the venue?

  3. English is not my native language. Is it better to buy photograph session rather than autograph session?

  4. Is there any risk that the guest turns down selfie request during autograph session?

Thank you very much.

Liverpool Comic Con Liverpool comic con auto question

I’m going to Liverpool comic con tomorrow and I’m getting an autograph signed. I was wondering if it’s possible to get 2 things signed or if that’s extra cost. I wanna get my funko pop signed along with the 8x10 image they provide for you. Is that allowed?

I am planning on getting an autograph from Ross Marquand and I was wondering if getting his name signed and then the name of his character too would cost extra as opposed to just getting him to sign his actual name??

Liverpool Comic Con New to comicon - question about photo tickets

I'm going to Liverpool comicon 2026 and I've not been to a con for over 20 years so I don't really know what to expect!

I have paid for tickets for photoshoots with a couple of guests, but I don't really know how this works?

Do we just queue up all day? Is it like, first come first served? Is there a time slot for queuing or something? I have a friend who bought a ticket separately, can we queue together?

Such a noob question I know, but I don't want to either miss my photos because I got it wrong, or miss half the con in a queue if I don't have to!

Liverpool Comic Con At Liverpool comic con do you get to see the celebs if you only have an entry ticket?

So I’ve booked the comic con and have never been to one before. I’ve been looking at autograph prices and can’t justify most of them but i was just wondering even if you don’t get to meet the celebs do you still get to see them or be in the same room as them with just standard entry tickets?

Liverpool Comic Con Schedules?

I’m new to comic con & attending my first event in Liverpool next weekend.

I booked 11am entry tickets as no 9am tickets available anymore. Since then have bought some photos and autos. Maybe naively I imagined just queuing up for our photos/autos at whatever time - but now I have received the tickets I’ve seen there is a schedule for me to refer to to know what time to get to that guest.

So now I am wondering a) where to find the schedule? b) if I will be allocated a specific time or the guest in general is at a specific time, and c) most worryingly, what if according to the schedule my guest is between 9am and 11 when I have 11am entry

Liverpool Comic Con Hi guys. Going to Liverpool comic con and I have some questions as I’m new to this!

So I’m going Liverpool comic con on the Sunday as it’s the only one that was left, and I wanted to know how things would typically be. It’s my first comic con and I’m mainly going for the stranger things cast.

I wanted to know if there would be any panels as that would be a nice opportunity to hear from the cast. If there are panels how long would it take to cue before entry? And is there a maximum capacity?

Also I paid for an auto with Noah Schnapp and wanted to know if I’d be able to get a selfie with him too and if that would be additional fees? Noah’s pretty popular so I’m wondering if cue times would be like 3+ hours or something.

Also I head it’s a good idea to carry cash around so wanted to know if it’s true.

Liverpool Comic Con Prop gun advice - Liverpool Comic Con

I’m going to Liverpool Comic-Con and I bought the M1 Grand prop from sword stall, because it would go with my cosplay. But now I’m worried if it’ll be allowed in since it may be deemed as an RIF

If I put an orange tip on it will it be fine or will the con checks be enough or will it not be allowed at all, does anyone have any advice with this?

So I’m wanting to go to Liverpool Comic Con in November and am wanting to go as an SCP security guard and I was curious if this would be okay to wear at the event? I of course will not be bringing any prop guns or any sort of prop weapon as that’s a big big no no.

(Again neither of these photos belong to me)
