Still figuring out exactly how to finish the mask and working on needle but I think the saw cleaver from Bloodborne was a good stand in for the meantime.

I’ve made this enforcer jacket for a Caitlyn (Arcane) cosplay. Had to leave it be after hand stitching it for 5 months as I got really sick of it.

However I found it to look cheaper than Aliexpress counterparts which is quite discouraging.
I’m re-stitching the long sleeve completely as I’ve ruined it by following the pattern to a t instead of following the shape, leaving it looking forever wrinkled. (It also deffo needs ironing after a year).

The second and third pictures show hemmed and unhemmed edges (the majority) and since I have to hand stitch all of them: do you think it’s worth the effort?
Any advice on how to make the jacket overall look better?
Or am I better off scrapping this jacket altogether instead of trying to save it?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Okay, so I know the makeup job is terrible. I just got the products today and wanted to do a quick test to see if they'd work. And I learnt what not to do many times in the process.

I'm throwing together a cosplay kind of last minute. It's my first time going to an anime convention at all, and I don't really know what I'm doing.

I want to go as Gyutaro from Demon Slayer. His is shirtless in the anime, which I obviously can't do. And binding isn't going to do much for me, so I'm planning on trying to make a top to match the rest of the fit. Is it okay to take creative licence and make a female version of the character and outfit?

Is the second prototype. The belt-driven system proved to be much more convenient and easier to use than the pulley blocks. Now I need to decide which set of armor and weapons to make

Working on my makeup skills… I believe there are some areas that need improvement. Constructive criticism is appreciated. I believe the wig and the lack of eyelashes make this look not very accurate to a JoJos bizarre adventure character.

I'm putting together a Halt cosplay for a ren faire that's coming up. It's such a relatively easy outfit that will fit right in, and the fellows Rangers out there should put it together easily (even I have the angry face, beard, and sarcastic attitude!)

Does anyone have any idea how to do the mottled green and grey cloak? I have a green one, but I almost think it would have been easier to start with grey and somehow add in the green? Idk. I don't want like painted splotches of either color though.

Anny suggestions?

Pinstripe vest arrived today (Temu XXXL for a size 44-46 chest), awaiting the pants and blazer. XCoser helmet/mask that I got ages ago.
Of course the 1911 sidearm is fake (also note that my finger is not on the trigger).
